Two-factor authentication (2FA) is used as a security measure for logins to PeopleQX. Two forms of validation are required to verify your identity — your password and a code generated from an Authenticator app. The app serves to provide a QR code for first-time logins and 2FA codes for your subsequent logins.
To use 2FA, the first step is to download an Authenticator app to your mobile device. There are numerous apps available but for this article, we will illustrate the steps using the Microsoft Authenticator.
Go to the app store on your mobile device and search for ‘Microsoft Authenticator’. Follow the steps to install it.
Open the app and you will see the privacy clause. ‘Accept’ it to continue.
You would be prompted to share information on your usage data. The choice is entirely yours. Click ‘Continue’ to proceed.
Select ‘Add work or school account’ and enter your TDCX Microsoft account email.
You are now ready to use the Authenticator app to login to PeopleQX for the first time.
